Her experiential learning model weaves nature-based practices, non-linear exploration and Equine Guided Learning. The focus is on developing emotional and somatic intelligence in order to imagine new opportunities and create balance in life and work. She is the founder of the Equine Guided Education Association.

The Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA) offers training and an annual conference. Its focus has been in the area of Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy, but it is currently developing an Equine-Assisted Learning track.
